4th of July 2026 is now only a memory, but I think a good one for most. If you were in Hatton over the 4th, you had ample opportunity for a great time. The men’s Club once again did a fine job with festivities and we can’t thank them enough for once again sending the Parade to our Front Door. The residents really enjoy having a bird’s eye view of the parade. I know they got some candy along the way, got to love that. Some of our residents had their wheelchairs and walkers all decorated up for the day. Did you see our Golf Cart in the parade? Katelyn Milligan and Laurana Jonas, two of our CNAs, took two of our residents Norris Jacobson and Judy Rodgers for a ride in the parade. They looked like they were having a great time. Happy 250th Everyone!
We are still fundraising for 2026 which is new wheelchairs and some specialty wheelchairs for appointments, such as taking someone that doesn’t transfer on their own to a dentist appointment. Thank you for those of you that have made a memorial or a donation to this cause. We are most grateful!

Monday July 13th-Room visits, Balloon Ball, Trivia, One to Ones, Bingo, at 2:45 we will help Mike Rodgers celebrate his birthday, Coffee shop open 3:15 to 4:00, One to Ones
Tuesday July 14th-Room Visits, jabbering with Joan, Manicures with Jenny, Trivia, Picnic on the Patio, outside time, Beverage Cart, One to Ones
Wednesday July 15th-Breakfast Club, Room Visits, visit from Alyx and the boys, Worship, Trivia, Popcorn, Pie and Coffee in the Coffee Shop from 1:00 to 4:00, Beverage Cart, Bible Study, One to Ones, and it is Jammie Day
Thursday July 16th-Room visits, outside time Trivia, One to Ones, Bingo, we will help Lyle Ness celebrate his birthday at 2:45, one to ones
Friday July 17th-Room Visits, manicures, gift shop open 12:30 to 1:30, One to Ones
Saturday July 18th-Gift shop open 10:00 to 11:00, Trivia, One to Ones, beverage Cart with games, One to Ones
Happy Birthday this week goes out to Rachel Armstrong, Drew Iverson, Rachel Mynatt, Jessie Vivier, Hannah Scholand, Lyle Ness, and Mike Rodgers. Happy Birthday!
Our sincerest sympathy to the family of Sheila Gulson. Sheila spent many years as a faithful nurse here at the nursing home, she was a great friend and Co-worker. She will be missed by many. May her memory be blessed.
