Hot, hot, hot is the word of the week, along with being very dry. We sure could use some rain and some relief from the heat. Even with the heat, the residents try to sneak out for a few minutes of outside time. So, let’s just hope that cooler (not cold) weather is on the way. Oh, and minus the wind?
The residents keep busy with inside activities and that works, too. This morning while I am typing, they were having a chat session by the Nurse’s station. I think that is something they really enjoy, just talking. That is another reason why I encourage people to stop by just for a visit, our residents love it and we love having you. So come on out!
What’s going on the week of July 19th to July 25th-
Sunday July 19th- 10:00 am Worship, Coffee in the Coffee Shop from 1:00 to 3:00
Monday July 20th-Room visits, Parachute, Trivia, One to Ones, Ohana Ice will be in our Parking lot from 1:00 to 6:00, so good on a hot day, feel free to stop out, Bingo, Beverage Cart, Coffee Shop will be open 3:15 to 4:00, One to Ones
Tuesday July 21st-Room Visits, jabbering with Joan on the front patio, Manicures with Jenny, Trivia, Outside Time, Beverage Cart, One to Ones, and the Ice Cream Cart will be out
Wednesday July 22nd-Room Visits, Alyx and the Boys will be here, Worship, Trivia, Popcorn, Pie and Coffee in the Coffee shop from 1:00 to 4:00, Beverage Cart, Bible Study, One to Ones
Thursday July 23rd-Room Visits, Outside time, Blackjack, Trivia, Beverage Cart, 2:30 Music by Steve Worner, One to Ones
Friday July 24th-Room Visits, Manicures, Trivia, coffee shop will be open 12:30 to 2:30, Beverage Cart, One to Ones
Saturday July 25th-Coffee Shop open 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Trivia, One to Ones Beverage cart with games, One to Ones

Just a reminder that we still have our 2026 Fundraiser going. We are hoping to purchase new wheelchairs for the residents. We are looking to purchase some specialty wheelchairs to be used to assist our residents when going to an appointment. Many of our residents aren’t able to transfer so they have to remain in their chairs during and exam, example Dentist Appointment. Thanks so much to those of you that have already contributed either with a memorial or a donation, much appreciated.
We thank all of you for being so generous and gracious to all of us and our residents. We feel so fortunate to be a part of such a caring community, whether it be supporting something, treats, kind words, and prayers; your kindnesses never go unnoticed.
