Ronda’s Weekly Column

Week of May11, 2026

It’s Ronda with the weekly HPV News-

In Hatton, still cold, but it did Thunder once last night. Do you suppose Spring is trying to break in, finally? Just the same we keep moving on with activities. We had Music by the Second Wind Band last week. They were so good. An enjoyable afternoon with music and coffee after. Then Monday we had our Ladies Tea hosted by the Activity Room Gals. I heard from several that it was a nice afternoon, and it makes it so much more special when family are here to join in the fun. Be on the lookout on our Facebook page for some pictures.

Our sincerest sympathy to Brad (Maintenance) and Toni Adam (CNA). Toni’s brother Lou passed this week after an extended illness. May all the memories you have with him bring you peace.

I’m going to share again the exciting news we got earlier this month. Hatton Prairie Village has officially been recognized as a Great Place to Work. We couldn’t be more honored. This certification is based on what matters the most. The voices of our employees.  Through a confidential survey about their work environment, 93% of our employees said Hatton Prairie Village is a great place to work, this is compared to the average US company at 57%.

At HPV we believe in creating a workplace that feels like family, where staff are supported, appreciated, and empowered, every day. From flexible scheduling, and strong benefits to meaningful recognition and teamwork. We remain committed to taking care of the people who take care of others.

Come on out and see what makes Hatton Prairie Village such a special place to live and work.

Well, that’s going to do it for another week! Stay healthy, stay warm (didn’t think I would be saying that the middle of May) and come on out and see us. Have a great week!
