Hello everyone, it’s Ronda with the weekly HPV News
Welcome to Hatton Prairie Village. a great place to live and work!
Still having great weather, my favorite really in the 70’s. Still waiting on some measurable rain. The weatherman keeps promising and it never seems to happen. The rain gauges are dry, the grass is yellow and the weather has taken a toll on the fields this year. Looking forward, the farmers are looking for some moisture for the future. Everyone say a prayer!
Last week we had the special music of Larry Charon, they are so fun and the residents really enjoy some music and dancing. One of the men told me he would dance everyday if he had some music and a partner.
Here at the Village the residents are enjoying being outside and having activities on the patio. You may have seen them around town on the Golf Cart. That was such a great add to HPV. I was going to the store yesterday and Jenny had some of them out for a ride. I stopped and talked to them, and they were waving and smiling. Such a happy activity.

Tuesday August 25th-Room Visits, Seated Kickball Bowling, Family Feud, Trivia, Picnic, Outside Time, Beverage Cart with Dirty Sodas, One to Ones
Wednesday August 26th-Breakfast Club, Room Visits, Alyx and the Boys will be visiting, Worship, Trivia, Popcorn, Pie and Coffee in the Coffee Shop from 1:00 to 4:00, Beverage Cart, Bible Study, One to Ones
Thursday August 27th-Room Visits, Coffee, Guy’s Bingo, One to Ones, Ladies Bingo, Beverage Cart, One to Ones
Friday August 28th-Room Visits, Manicures, Trivia, Coffee Shop open 12:30 to 1:30, at 1:30 we will help Mary Ann Omlid celebrate her birthday, One to Ones
Saturday August 29th-Coffee Shop open 10:00 to 11:00, Trivia, Wheel of Fortune, Beverage Cart, One to Ones
Happy Birthday this week goes out to Mary Ann Omlid, Nancy Fyre, Taby Flom. Happy Birthday!
Our sincerest sympathy to Shirley Nelson (mother), Alvina Volla (mother-in-law) in the passing of Dana Nelson. Also, sympathy to his wife Laura a former HPV employee. May his memory be blessed and all the great memories give you peace. Rest in Peace Dana!
A reminder about the 2026 Fundraiser that we are in. We are looking to purchase new wheelchairs for the facility. Many Thanks to those of you that have already made a memorial or donation to this project, we are very appreciative. Many thanks!
