Week of April 29, 2024
Hello everyone, it’s Ronda with the weekly HPV News-
It is no secret that we are struggling a little bit in the weather department this week. It has been pretty cool out, but we have received some much-needed rain. It sounds like we will be in a wet pattern for a few more days. Then Spring? We are all more than hoping for some Patio Time; they did manage to sneak in a little sunshine last week, but we need more. Come on Mother Nature, bring it on!
What’s going on the week of May 5th to May 11th-
Sunday May 5th-Worship with Communion at 10:00 am, Coffee and Dessert in the Coffee Shop from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Monday May 6th-Individual Room Visits, Giant Crossword Puzzle, and trivia, In the afternoon they will have Word Games, Bingo, Beverage Cart, and small group Visits.
Tuesday May 7th-Indivdual Room Visits, Jingo, Balls Galore. In the afternoon they will have Second Wind Band at 1:30 pm in the chapel, Beverage Cart, and small group visits.
Wednesday 8th-Individual Room Visits, Worship, and Trivia. In the afternoon they will have Pie Day in the Coffee Shop from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Beverage Cart, Bible Study, and Individual Activities.
Thursday May 9th-Individual Visits, Tic-Tac-Toe with Peanut Butter, 7777777, and trivia. In the afternoon they will have Word Games, Beverage Cart, Patio Time and Visiting.
Friday May 10th-Individual Room Visits and Movie in the Activity Room. In the afternoon they will have Beverage Cart and help Mae Schroeder celebrate her birthday. Happy Birthday!
Saturday May 11th-Individual Room Visits, and trivia. In the afternoon they will have Individual Activities, Beverage Cart, and Bingo.
Happy Birthday this week goes out to Mae Schroeder, Madrene Grund,and Joyce Nelson. Happy Birthday, Ladies!
Just a reminder about our 2024 Fundraiser. We are in need of a new Med-Cart. Ours has quite a few miles on it and needs to be replaced. If you would like to make a memorial or a donation to this project, we would be most grateful. If you have any questions on it, as always you can talk to Cindy Tredwell, Administrator or Amber Thykeson, DON. They are always willing to answer any questions.
This Sunday is Mother’s Day, here is a little tribute for all mothers! I hope you have the best day.

I also wanted to remind you that you are welcome to attend Church and the Music events we have here, the more the merrier. If you can’t attend, remember to check out our Facebook Page. I am sure there will be someone on there that you know. The pictures are great. It also gives you a chance to see what we are up to here at HPV.
Stop by and visit if you have a few minutes. There is always someone to visit with and it would make someone’s day. Also, make sure you are feeling well before you visit. Unfortunately, there is a lot of “stuff” going around and we are trying to avoid that. Anyways, enjoy the Spring weather, even the rain. Some are already counting down to Christmas, Good grief.
