Week of January 19, 2026
Hello everyone, it’s Ronda with the weekly HPV News-
Well, the weather is “frigid” and of course, we had to have a little wind, snow, and blowing snow thrown in just to make it dangerous and interesting. Special thanks to the guys, TJ Tangen and Brad Adam, for keeping the parking lot and sidewalks open and assessable. Also, to the staff that braved the weather to come to work and those who came in to help out.
A reminder that we are in the middle of the Giving Hearts Day campaign. This is our first time participating in this. The giving portal is open January 12th to February 12th for donations. Our goal is $5000. You simply go to givingheartsday.org, search Hatton Prairie Village and push the red donate button. Thank You in advance for considering this. If you have any questions, please call or contact Cindy Tredwell or Amber Thykeson for assistance or information.

Happy Birthday this week goes out to Joleen Smith, Lori Mehus, and Roxie Wellcome. Happy Birthday!
January is moving right along, the faster the better as far as I’m concerned. Mainly just because of the weather. This ice, snow, cold, and wind need to go south. I guess we can dream of nicer weather, Patio time, Spring Break Week, the possibilities are endless and warmer!
Today I have been listening to the residents sing along with Joan B., some of them are quite the singers and know all the words. They were also talking about their day and so happy that it is Waffle Lunch Day. Waffles and all the toppings to go with them, strawberries, whipped cream, syrup. yum! One of their favorite meals.
Another invite to stop out for Pie and Coffee on Wednesdays in the Coffee Shop. Home of the $3.50 Homemade pie and the .50 Bottomless cup of coffee. We have a lot of fun on Wednesdays and would Love for you to join us. Lots of great conversation and visiting. Come on out 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
We are still in the middle of Flu season, so as usual we are asking that if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms, please save the visit for later. This is for the health and Safety of our residents and staff. Many thanks for trying to keep the flu from spreading.
I will leave you with this – May every falling snowflake bring a beautiful Winter BLESSING!
Stay safe, warm, and healthy, have a great week!
