Ronda’s Weekly Column

Week of January 13, 2025

Hello everyone, it’s Ronda with the weekly HPV News-

So far this week Cold is the word. They are promising a warmup later in the week so we will see how that goes. That isn’t always good either, sometimes brings rain and ground drifting.

Anyways, we take what we get and pray for Spring. Here at the Village we keep warm and busy. We were lucky to have another baking day with Faye Duncan. This time she made Flat Bread and the residents seemed to really like that. Thank you, Faye, for spending the afternoon with us.

The Activity Department is looking for some Volunteers to come up and read to our Residents. If you think this is something you would like to do, please Contact Deb Domier for details at 701-543-3102.

Happy Birthday this week goes out to Joleen Smith. Happy Birthday!

We sure are taking a chunk out of this month already, but that brings us so much closer to Spring and longer days. I, for one, am all for the longer daylight hours, makes driving at night so much nicer.

We hope you are all doing well and staying healthy and warm. I suppose many of you are into the football playoffs. We have quite a few football fans here, unfortunately, many of them are Vikings Fans and that’s not going so well, but we keep hoping.

Just a reminder about the Music Programs that we have coming up.  Please come on out and enjoy with the residents. Also, you are always welcome to attend church here if you’d like.

There are employment opportunities at HPV. They are looking for CNAs and right now they are looking for an RN/LPN. If you would like information on employment here  please check out our Web site or stop out for an application.

Well, this will do it for another week. Thanks for all you do for us and always being supportive.  We remain blessed with the best! Have a great week!
