Hello everyone, it’s Ronda with the weekly HPV News-
Well, first the weather. No SNOW, yet! It is beginning to look a lot like early Winter, cold and windy. We are priming up for the Holiday Season. Planning our decorating and holiday special events. A reminder that the Family & Resident Christmas Party is Sunday December 7th at 2:00. This is always such a fun day for the families to gather and spend time together.
We are also having a Holiday Christmas Event to kickoff the Christmas season on Sunday November 30th at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Please plan to attend, we would Love to have you.
We have been honoring our Veterans this past week. Saturday, they had a Veteran’s Social in the Activity Room with Coffee and Cookies, and on Veteran’s Day they had a Special Lunch in the Activity Room. Our Veterans in the nursing home are Robert Bjertness, Wayne Carson, Harvey Hanson, Rudy Kleven, Kelly Lenz, and Robert Schumacher. We also have some Veterans in our apartments. They are Rick Holter, Clayton Anderson, Richard Enger, and Luther Bjerke. We would like to thank all of them for their service.
What’s going on the week of November 16th to November 22nd-
Sunday November 16th-10:00 am Worship and the Coffee Shop will be open from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Coffee and Dessert.
Monday November 17th-Room Visits, Old Maid, Trivia, Word Games, Bingo, Beverage Cart, Blessings in Caring and Sharing, One to Ones and at 2:45 pm we will help Elaine Vold celebrate her birthday! Happy Birthday!
Tuesday November 18th-Room Visits, Jabbering with Joan, Trivia, Lunch Bunch, Create, Beverage Cart, Choir, Book Club, and One to One Visits.
Wednesday November 19th-Breakfast Club, Room Visits, and a visit by Alyx Erickson and her Boys, Worship, Trivia, Popcorn, Pie Day in the Coffee Shop from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Beverage Cart, Bible Study, One to Ones. Today is wear your Jammies Day!
Thursday November 20th-Room Visits, Fall Activity sponsored by the FBLA, Lefse by Linda, One to Ones.
Friday November 21st-Room Visits, Manicures and Sing a Long Video, Trivia, Beverage Cart, One to Ones.
Saturday November 22nd-Games, Trivia, One to Ones, Beverage Cart with Games.
Happy Birthday this week goes out to Elaine Vold and Gavin Cutshall. Happy Birthday!
Our sincerest sympathy to the family of David Holter. David passed away unexpectantly this past week. He will be dearly missed by all of us. May his memory be blessed. His service will be on Friday December 5th at St. Johns Church in Hatton.
We would like to Thank Lyle and Karen Ness for treating staff to a Pizza Party this past week. So very nice of you!
