Hello everyone, it’s Ronda with the weekly HPV News-
Here we sit, still waiting for some nice Spring weather. I saw on the forecast this am that there is some hope for warmer weather and if they could leave off the wind part, that would be great. It never hurts to ask. While I am typing Joan is having a little sing along with the residents. When your happy and you know it clap your hands! It makes your heart happy when you hear them sing songs from their childhood.
They are counting the days until the flower planters get planted and the patio gets set up for a little sunshine.
A reminder about our 2026 Fundraiser. We are hoping to purchase some new wheelchairs and some specialized wheelchairs to meet the needs of residents. If you would care to make a memorial or a donation to this project we would be most grateful. If you have any questions, you can all Amber Thykeson for information.

Sunday April 26th-10:00 am Worship and Coffee and Dessert in the Coffee Shop from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Monday April 27th-Room Visits, Number Game, Trivia, Word Games, Bingo and Beverage Cart.
Tuesday April 28th-Room Visits, Jabbering with Joan, Trivia, Lunch Bunch (Grille Hot Dogs and Shakes), Nothing but Numbers, Beverage Cart and Caffeine and Conversation-Ladies Addition.
Wednesday April 29th-Breakfast Club, Room Visits, Visit by Alyx and the Boys, Trivia, Popcorn, Pie and Coffee in the Coffee Shop from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Beverage Cart, Bible Study and One to Ones.
Thursday April 30th-Room Visits, Baking, Trivia, Word Games, Bingo, Beverage Cart and One to Ones.
Friday May 1st-HAPPY MAY DAY! Room Visits, Manicures, Trivia, Beverage Cart and One to Ones.
Saturday May 2nd- Trivia, Individual Activities, Beverage Cart and One to Ones.
Did you ever make a May Basket as a kid? I remember that we did. My mom would save the baskets that strawberries would come in and on May Day she would put a pretty napkin in them and we would fill them with a few treats. We’d run around the neighborhood placing a basket on the porch, knock and run. We always waited for that day.
