Week of April 15, 2018

Hello everyone, it's Ronda with the weekly HPV News-

I think we dodged the bullet over the weekend when a lot of our neighbors in South Dakota and Minnesota got 12 to 14 inches of snow. I would call us happy and blessed! Maybe Spring is finally coming and maybe the residents will get some Patio time in the near future. One can hope anyways!

It is Prom Week at the Village and the gals have been busy picking out Prom Dresses for the big day. There is a selection of dresses and Prom Jewelry to borrow, but if you have any to spare, we can definitely find a home for it here.

What's going on this week-

Happy Birthday this week goes out to David Holter and Joanna Bjerke! Happy Birthday!

I would like to extend our sincere sympathy to the Lowell Lande Family. Lowell was a resident for some months with us here at the Village before moving " back home" to Mayville and Luther Memorial. Please give the family Peace as they prepare to celebrate his life and all those special memories they have to cherish with him! May you rest in Peace Lowell.

Dates to Remember-

Wednesday April 25th-Music by Paul Swanstrom-1:00

Monday April 30th-Birthday party for Nita Johnson-2:00

Here's hoping you stop by for some pie or a visit on Wednesdays.  They just have too much fun talking and laughing in there, so plan on making the trip. Also, the spring Rummage Sale is looming, I hope you have your loot packed to donate.  You know someone else's junk can be your treasure! The money that is raised for the Spring Rummage Sale will be put towards the 2018 Fundraising project which is the new Chapel Chairs. If you would like to make a donation or a memorial for this fund that would be appreciated.

In the meantime, keep your eyes on our Facebook Page.  It is Prom week and I am sure there will be many photos of someone you know and Love! If you don't have Facebook I am sure you can find someone who does and take a look! Just a reminder you can send messages to our residents at: guest@hattonprairievillage.com.

Until next week, enjoy these more Springtime temps and Have a great week!
