Week of Janaury 26, 2020

Hello everyone, it's Ronda with the weekly HPV News-

It has been a pretty good week weather wise.  Above zero temps and pretty good roads and for this we are grateful. By the time you read this we will be rid of January. I am sure we aren't out of the woods yet with the weather, but we are going in the right direction.

We sure do enjoy the kids from the school coming and doing crafts with the Residents. They have been making some cute items and some residents have them proudly displayed in their rooms.

Just a reminder, you still have a week to make a Caregiver of the Year nomination if you choose to. Anyone that works at Hatton Prairie Village is eigible for the award that is sponsored by the NDLTCA (North Dakota Long Term Care Association) and awarded at the NDLTCA Convention in the Spring in Bismarck,  If you would like to nominate someone and have questions about the process you can contact Marsha Reiter or Cindy Tredwell and they can help you. The nominations must be postmarked by Friday February 7th.

What's going on this week-

MONDAY-In the morning they had coffee, Music Therapy, and Trivia. In the afternoon they had Individual Activities, Chain Reaction, Bingo, Individual Activities, coffee, and conversation for the Veterans, and the St. John Video.

TUESDAY-In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, and Trivia. In the afternoon they had Individual Activities, coffee, cocoa and stories, Happy Hour, Individual Activities, and Supper Club, on the menu Pizza and Pop.
