Hello everyone, it's Ronda with the weekly HPV News-

Well, bring on the heat.  The weather finally took a change for the better.  It's pretty warm this week and there has been a lot of patio time, so for that we are greatful.

It's that time of year again and guess who showed up? The State Medicare/Medicaid Survey team is here. By the time you read this they will be gone and I will fill you in next week. It is always nice to get it over with and if there is anything, we just improve on that.

There have been several involved in planting things out here. First, Tana B. did get all the planters planted before Memorial Day and they are really pretty. It is always exciting to see how they bloom over the Summer.

Then Dave Vold secured some really nice planters for Vegetables out on the North Patio.  So Thank You to Him. Also Jane Kleveland went to Cindy with a plan to spiff up the North Patio.   She has been holding some gardening classes out on the Patio involving the Residents. I know one day Jane, Laurel Hedland, Sparkle Yeargan, Gary Lillemoen, Ellen Amb and Karen Naastad). I hate to miss anyone, but I Love giving credit where credit is due. If I missed you please send me a text; we are so greatful for all the help. They have even repainted our outdoor decorations. The patio looks TERRIFIC!  Many Thanks! It sounds like Tuesday Afternoons will be Resident Gardening Day; sounds like fun~it takes a Village!

HAPPY 1ST DAY OF SUMMER

Once again, if you are here on vacation, don't forget to stop out and see us.  The coffee pot is always on and there is always someone to visit with. We will continue with Pie Day on Wednesdays, I think it is a weekly ritual for a lot of people. It is nice to see so many familiar faces and hear the friendly chatter at the "Pie Shop".  Speaking of the coffee shop, there are some cute items in there for sale; come out and take a look.

Remember if you would like to get in contact with someone here, simply EMail to: guest@hattonprairievillage.com.

I hope you all enjoy the Summer and have some great times. I think we all know how fast it goes; let's hang on to it as long as we can! Have a great week!
