Hello everyone, it's Ronda with the weekly HPV News-

 We sure had a fun weekend at the Village; Santa and his Elves made a visit and we sure appreciate that. Those Men's Club Guys really know how to have some fun. Many Thanks to them for keeping the Village on their route. They truly made the day special.

What's going on this week-

MONDAY-In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, had Recall, DDN, and Trivia. In the afternoon they had Individual Activities, Chain Reaction, coffee, Bingo, St. John's Video, and the Traill County Blue Christmas Veteran's Remembrance Service.

TUESDAY-In  the morning they had coffee, read the paper, played Jingo, DDN, and trivia. In the afternoon they had the Spelling Bee, coffee, Men's Club, Individual Activities, the Sunshine Club, and another Dinner Party.

WEDNESDAY-In the morning they had coffee, Wednesday Worship, Trivia, and DDN. In the afternoon they had the Price is Right, coffee, Bible Study, Nail Care, and the Daniel O'Donnell Music Video. The St. John Sunday School Kids will also be singing.

THURSDAY-In the morning they had coffee, followed by Holiday Baking, Nail Care, They also played the Wheel of Fortune,had coffee, an Music by Leonard and Betty Wahl, and the Sunshine Club.

FRIDAY- In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, played Yahtzee. In the afternoon they had their weekly Dice Game, Quicky Bingo, coffee, and ended the day with Friday Night at the Movies.

  Happy Birthday this week goes out to Missy Chapman and Angela Haugen. Happy Birthday!

  It is with great sadness that we say good bye to Lyle Erickson. He passed away this last week after a brief stay with us. Please keep the family in your prayers as the celebrate his life. May Lyle's memory be blessed.

Sunday December 23rd-Christmas Worship Service-10:00a.m.

Sunday December 23rd-St. John Choir Sings-1:30 p.m.

Thursday December 27th-Music By Steve Worner-2:30 p.m.

  Just a reminder that our Service of Remembrance will be held Sunday January 6th at1:00 p.m. at the Village. This is the service where we honor and remember those that we have lost this past year. They are: Margaret Wiltse, Esther Doble, Alpha Flatern, Lynnet Ysteboe, Keith Nelson, Jean Midboe, Jane Holden, Loraine Martindale, Judith Anderson, James Fish, Clarice Sheppard, and Elaine Wiberg. May their memories be blessed, and their memories live on.

  I hope you can stop by and see us over the holidays. It is such a nice time to be together and spend some time with a friend.
