Hello everyone, it's Ronda with the weekly HPV News-

Well, it's Monday, and here comes the snow! We are in a storm warning for today and tonight.  We have been so lucky to have such good weather, other than one Snow Day in October. Happy Winter!

We would like to send a big Thank You out to the Hatton Men's Club (aka Santa and the Elves). We had a Santa and 14 Elves; they arrived on an open people mover. So much fun for everyone for the day. We look forward to your visit next year! So check out all the pictures from this and the Christmas Celebration held in Hatton on Saturday on Facebook on the Hatton Prairie Village Page or go to #christmasinhatton.

We would also like to Thank the Holmes United Methodist Church for bringing their Live Nativity to us this past Sunday. It was so enjoyed by the Residents.  A big weekend of Christmas Cheer! Many, Many Thanks!

What's going on this week-MONDAY-In the morning they had coffee, spent a lot of time watching the weather, read the Newspaper, had Resident Council. In the afternoon they had One to One Visits, played Chain Reaction, coffee, Nail Care, and the St. John Video.

TUESDAY-In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, played Jingo, DDN, and Trivia. In the afternoon they had One to One Visits, Spelling Bee, coffee, Buzz Word, One to One Visits, the Sunshine Club, and a Dinner Party.

Our sincerest sympathy goes out to the family of Adele Bye. Adele is a former Dietary Employee, Organist for Church Services, and an all around awesome Volunteer for  Hatton Prairie Village.  She has spent countless hours in the Coffee Shop, serving as an officer of the HPV Auxillary, Rummage Sale. Most recently she hosted "Adele's Sing-a-Long" for the Residents, complete with a Songbook she compiled of favorite songs.  And just being a friend to many of our Residents and Staff. She was so Loved and will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace, Dear Friend!
