Hello everyone, it's Ronda with the weekly HPV News-

  Here we sit, hoping for the weather to change and at least give us a little bit of Fall. We do have a few folks out here who still venture out, even for a short time. So maybe there is slight hope for Fall to come back.

  Remember, it is FALL FESTIVAL on Sunday, October 21 starting at noon with great food.  Musical program is at 2:00 p.m. featuring Jim Kent (soloist) and George French (pianist).  They are our most requested musical entertainers.  You won't want to miss it!

What's going on this week-

MONDAY-In the morning they  had coffee, read the paper, had Recall, DDN, and Trivia. In the afternoon they had Individual Activites, Chain Reaction, coffee, Bingo, Individual Activities, and the St. John Video.

TUESDAY-In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, played Jingo, Trivia, and DDN. In the afternoon they had Individual Activities, the Spelling Bee, coffee, Auxillary, Happy Hour, Individual Activities, the Sunshine Club, the Waffle Supper, and Bingo,

WEDNESDAY-In the morning they had coffee, Wednesday Worship, Trivia, and DDN. In the afternoon they had Individual Activities, played the Price is Right, had coffee, Bible Study, Nail Care, the Daniel O'Donnell Music Video.

THURSDAY-In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, played the Number Game, Trivia, and DDN. In the afternoon they had Nail Care, wheel of Fortune, coffee, Dance to the Music by Larry Charon, Happy Hour, and the Sunshine Club.

FRIDAY-In the morning they had Breakfast Club, coffee, read the paper, and played Yahtzee. In the afternoon they had their weekly Dice Game, Quicky Bingo, coffee, and ended the day with Friday Night at the Movies...now showing Tuck Everlasting--

  Happy Birthday this week goes out to Tess Bergenheier, Marsha Reiter, Toni Adams, Ronda Hanson, and Alyssa Camrud! Happy Birthday!

Dates to Remember-

Saturday October 20th-MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY-Residents will be doing a project with folks from St.John Church in the Activity Room-9:30

Sunday October 21st-Fall Festival-Meatball Dinner and all the fixings, followed by a Silent Auction, and a Musical program by Jim Kent and George French. Please plan on joining us for a fun afternoon.  The dinner is free will offering with the proceeds going towards the new Chapel Chairs.

Wednesday October 24th- The St. John Sunday School kids are coming up to sing in their Halloween Costumes-4:30..please plan on coming to see the kids

Sunday October 28th-St. John Choir will sing-1:30

Monday October 29th0Birthday party for Verna Dumas-2:00

Tuesday October 30th-Birthday party for Harris Olson-2:00

Wednesday October 31st-Happy Halloween-You are invited to stop up and show off you costumes and we will be handing out candy from 4:00-8:00..so please stop by.

  Have you stopped out to check out the New Chapel Carpet and Chapel Chairs? The Chapel Chairs are this year's fundraising project and we Thank You so much for contributing to that project either with memorials or donations.  We are most Grateful!

 A reminder that we are happy to do Blood Pressure checks, for free, any day. Also Thank You to those that have signed up for the Smile Program from Amazon.
