Week of October 18, 2020

Hello everyone, it's Ronda with the weekly HPV New-

I hate starting each week with Covid News, but right now that seems to be the big part of all of our days.  So we tested on the 8th of October and the results were 3 Positive Staff Members. This has also led to some other Staff Quarantinesdue tor close contact. Although we were hoping for all negatives we are happy that the Staff Members that are positive are doing ok - some cold symptoms - so for that we are grateful. What does this mean to HPV? We will have to test all Residents, Apartment Tenants and Staff weekly until we have 2 consecutive testing weeks with all negative test results. Testing will be October 22nd and October 29th. This last time we had the results before noon on Sunday, so let's just all hope for the best. We are doing everything we can to keep our Residents safe and Covid Free, so we aren't about to stop now. We also are going to go down to one visitor per resident as another safety measure. Sorry the two people visit was short lived, but let's hope it won't be that long before we can offer that again. As always please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers.  We do feel so lucky that we have the BEST support system around and we do feel awful lucky about that! #inittowinit #allinthistogether #Bootocovid

It's Tuesday, October 20th as I type.  I look out the Window and that white stuff is falling, I know it's no secret Winter is not my favorite season, but on the flip side of that, the Holiday season is coming fast and I do Love that! I keep seeing people decorating some for Halloween, some for Thanksgiving, and some for Christmas...anything goes! So whatever you all do...enjoy the seasons!

I found another little poem I wanted to share with you. Kind of a take of my favorite Psalm. I think we can all use some hope during this Pandemic

The Lord is my Shephard,

I am one of his Sheep.

I am safe in his Pasture.

Awake or asleep.

His watching is Constant,

He knows me by name.

He knows every weakness,

Yet, he Loves me the same.
