Hello everyone, it's Ronda with the weekly NPV News-

  Well, seems we are back to full blown Winter.  Forecast was for 2-6, we got 9 inches! Also today, which is Tuesday, it's snowing again.  Can we please fast forward to Spring and just be done with this.

  We got the notification that the Caregiver of the Year Nominations are in. Once again we had several staff members nominated and we are so very proud of them.  This year's nominees are: Tess Bergenheier, Tana Braaten, Zahra Hanson, Gayle Holter, Mindi Mehus, Amanda Thorsgard, Samantha Berry, Danielle Carey, Angela Haugen, Carrie Ann Johnson, Lindsay Parker and Carmen Woodward. These ladies will be eligible for the State Caregiver Award at the Spring NDLTCA Convention in Bismarck and also for our HPV Caregiver of the Year Award that will be given away in June at our Employee Appreciation Dinner. Congratulations to all the nominees and Best of Luck!

Also, Thank You so much for all of you who took the time to nominate someone; it is truly an Honor just to be nominated!

What's going on this week-

MONDAY-In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, played Recall, DDN, and Trivia. In the afternoon they had One to One Visits, Chain Reaction, coffee and a birthday party for Jeanette Eide. Happy Birthday! They also had Bingo, One to One Visits, and the St. John Video.

TUESDAY-In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, played Jingo, Trivia, and DDN. In the afternoon they had One to One Visits, Spelling Bee, coffee, Olympics, Nail Care, One to One Visits, and the Sunshine Club.

WEDNESDAY-In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, had Trivia, and DDN. In the afternoon they had One to One Visis, played the Price is right, had Coffee, Bible Study, Nail Care and the Daniel O'Donnell Music Video.

THURSDAY-In the morning they had coffee, read the paper, had Movement and Music, DDN, and Trivia.. In the afternoon they had One to One Visits, played the Wheel of Fortune, had coffee, Card Party, Happy Half Hour, and the Sunshine Club.

FRIDAY-In the morning they had Breakfast Club, followed by coffee, reading the Newspaper, and Yahtzee. In the afternoon they had their weekly Dice Game, Quicky Bingo, coffee, and ended the day with Friday Night at the Movies, now showing Ocean's Thirteen.

  Happy Birthday this week goes out to Jeanette Eide, and Clarice Shepard. Happy Birthday !

  Here at the Village the Valentines Hearts are coming down, being replaced by Shamrocks and Easter Bunnies. I like the change; reminds all of us that Spring is coming. If you stop out for pie or a visit, I noticed Gayle has some cute Easter things for sale. You can never have to many Easter bunnies!

  Please also take care of your Blood Pressure and have a Nurse or CNA check it for you.  This is part of our Community Service. It is free and available anyday, anytime!

  We had a change in date for the St, John Choir singing.  They will actually be here this Sunday, February 25 at 1:30 in the chapel.  You are welcome to attend.
